Digital Arts Program
At our TCA, we believe that an education in Digital Design is vital for our technological world today. Our curriculum offers students opportunities to explore and discover different ways to use technology and discover their talents and skills through collaboration and personal projects.
We offer a comprehensive Digital Design program for students 9th grade – 12th grade, from Film to Photoshop and 3D design . Our program includes:
Digital Design 1
Digital Design 1 introduces students to foundational tools for image and video editing, marketing, and social media account management. Following Digital Design 1, students choose a two-year proficiency in film or photoshop.
FILM 1
Film 1 equips students with advanced editing techniques such as storyboarding, use of the green screen, and collaborative efforts. Following Film 1, students enter Film 2.
FILM 2
Film 2 equips students to utilize storyboards and scripts to direct and produce their own shorts. Simultaneously, students become proficient in advanced editing and marketing skills (with a focus in social media platforms). Following Film 2, students can apply to Digital Design 4.
PHOTOSHOP 1
Photoshop 1 introduces students to photo editing techniques. In semester 1 students create a mock Twitter account and post their edits. In semester 2 students develop a webpage and market their own product. Following Photoshop 1, students enter Photoshop 2.
PHOTOSHOP 2
Photoshop 2 operates as an internship. Students receive work orders, schedule consultations, and work with teachers on various project (projects include 3D printing, Cricut/vinyl designs, flyers, etc.). Following Photoshop 2, students can apply for Digital Design 4.
Digital Design 4
Digital Design 4 brings film and photoshop students together to complete professional projects. These projects are in use on the TCA campus, website, and social platforms. This course is designed for students looking to enter the visual arts career field. Students must submit the application to be admitted to Digital Design 4.
Opportunities for Students
Students deepen their knowledge base and network with current program directors and industry professionals through trips to two of the top ranked design schools in the country, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and Full Sail University.

Digital Arts Program Leadership
Danny English
Danny English has been a baseball coach at Trinity since 2011. It while coaching he discovered his passion for leading and instructing. He graduated from Trinity Baptist College in 2016 with a degree in Secondary Education. Upon graduating, he took over the computer program at TCA and has been involved in numerous projects to grow and integrate technology throughout Trinity's campus. He is responsible for the upkeep of the Makerspace and Technology room, which aim to provide extra resources for teachers and students. One hobby he enjoys is 3D printing, which you can see displayed on the shelves if you ever visit his room. His favorite memory at Trinity is winning the first ever State Championship for baseball in 2015.
